Job description

In a time of increasing relevance of agribusiness in the Brazilian economy, our client is seeking a new executive to lead the treasury department. The company aims to be a leader in consolidating agribusiness by investing in research, innovation, and the supporting rural producers, with a strategic focus on sustainability and operational efficiency.

As the Treasury Manager, your primary mission will be to ensure that financial practices align with the organization’s strategic guidelines. By implementing cash flow management strategies and optimizing financial resources, you will play a crucial role in risk mitigation and in supporting the sustainable growth of the company.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop treasury policies that integrate cash flow management, aligning with the company’s strategic financial objectives and utilizing cash flow forecasting models;
  • Manage daily financial operations and control accounts payable and receivable, using ERP systems and financial automation to maximize efficiency;
  • Conduct analyses of working capital needs, applying working capital management techniques to reduce financial costs and improve cash conversion cycles;
  • Negotiate and assess lines of credit and financing options, using financial analysis tools to identify opportunities for improvement in credit conditions and capital structure;
  • Implement and monitor financial risk management strategies, including the use of derivatives and hedging to protect the company against currency and interest rate fluctuations; 
  • Produce and present analytical financial reports using key performance indicators and financial dashboards that support the directors’ decision-making;
  • Coordinate relationships with financial institutions, ensuring compliance with banking operations and adherence to regulatory standards relevant to the sector.
Requisitos:
  • Fluent proficiency in English;
  • Proven experience in financial management and treasury, preferably within the agribusiness sector;
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow management and financial risk mitigation;
  • Ability to utilize financial planning and data analysis tools effectively.
