Procurement Manager

In this context, our client sees an opportunity to invest in new leadership, focused on ensuring greater ease and assertiveness in the Purchasing area, today one of the main tools to sustain exponential production growth.

Upon taking over as a new Procurement Manager, your main challenge will be to act strategically in the construction of processes in the purchasing area and in the development of new local and global suppliers, with a strong focus on the Asian market, meeting all the company’s compliance requirements. .

Main responsibilities:

• Lead purchasing teams in the development and monitoring of suppliers and acquisition of direct inputs;
• Ensure that the area’s strategy is aligned with the supply chain goals and corporate strategy;
• Manage relationships with local and global suppliers and ensure business with the best conditions;
• Develop communication, understanding and clear execution of activities in the area, ensuring deadlines, quality and costs of the operation;
• Perform cost analysis, scenarios and benchmarking, mapping price and market trends to identify changes in buyer-supplier balance;
• Identify the best business practices and implement them together with internal customers and suppliers, seeking opportunities for process improvement and automation;
• Ensure adherence to controls and standards and direct teams and suppliers with clear documentation to achieve internal and external compliance indicators;
• Manage monthly purchase reports and key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience in high performance industries with a strong level of compliance;
• Background in global supplier development and management;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Fluent English;
• Mobility to Serra Gaúcha.
