Our client, operating in the international transport and logistics segment, has established itself as a reference in maritime transport of break-bulk cargo. With a strategic vision of expansion and continuous improvement of its operational processes, the company is looking for a new Operations Director to lead the execution of its growth and operational excellence agenda.
As Operations Director, you will be responsible for coordinating international transport operations, ensuring the optimization of logistics processes, managing the operational team and implementing solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve the customer experience. You will have a fundamental role in developing strategic projects aimed at improving the company’s performance and expansion.
Manage and supervise all logistics and international transportation operations of break-bulk cargo (LCL), ensuring efficient execution and compliance with delivery deadlines;
Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational processes, aiming to reduce costs and increase efficiency;
Coordinate the integration of new processes and technologies, aligning them with the company’s strategic objectives;
Ensure compliance with international safety standards and regulations related to maritime cargo transport;
Establish and maintain relationships with international suppliers and partners, seeking new business opportunities and innovative solutions;
Monitor operational performance indicators (KPIs), promoting corrective actions when necessary to achieve established goals;
Lead and develop the operational team, promoting a high performance environment and alignment with the organizational culture.
Proven experience in managing operations in the segment of less-than-truckload maritime transport (LCL) or international logistics;
Solid experience in leading complex operations and optimizing logistics processes in large companies;
Experience in implementing strategic projects that aim to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs;
In-depth knowledge of international maritime transport and cargo import regulations.
