Job description

Recognized for the use of advanced technologies and the constant expansion of its presence in international markets, a company operating in the industrial sector is looking for a new Labor and Union Relations Manager. Given the various long-term directions, your role will be to align the labor and union management strategy across all of the company’s operations.

As a leader in the area, you will have the challenge of balancing the company’s needs with union expectations, ensuring compliance of management processes and practices with labor legislation and applying policies in different business units, contributing to a safe work environment and productive. This will involve managing complex negotiations, adapting to frequent regulatory changes and ensuring communication to prevent employment issues.

Main responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business units, in a preventive and integrated manner, to implement strategies to mitigate labor conflicts;

  • Lead collective labor negotiations with unions, seeking agreements that benefit both parties, ensuring a fair and attractive environment for retaining talent;

  • Maintain effective communication with union representatives, ensuring that team concerns are addressed appropriately;

  • Evaluate and monitor the organizational climate and employee satisfaction, preventing union adversities and contributing to a positive work culture;

  • Promote best internal practices and provide adequate training for the management team regarding labor relations and union dialogue.

Requirements:
  • Solid experience in managing labor and union relations in an industrial environment;

  • Deep history in negotiations and collective agreements;

  • Knowledge of compliance and labor legislation, including international contexts;

  • Advanced English will be considered an advantage.
