Job description

The inevitable digitalization in the financial sector brings more and more challenges to companies. Looking to transform its digital environment, our partner seeks new leadership for its most relevant area, focusing on the best and most strategic delivery to the end customer.

Reporting directly to the CTO, your main challenge as Head of Product will be to lead the area in the development of new products and digital solutions, focusing on continuously improving the virtual experience.

Main responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in the construction and maintenance of the product management methodology, bringing good practices and process excellence in order to align, motivate and develop the product team;
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the ecosystem in which the products operate;
  • Lead the delivery of key product improvements in partnership with the technical, operational and business development areas;
  • Build a user-centric development culture based on data, testing and learning experimentation for continuous feedback of the product experience;
  • Actively work in the construction of indicators and in the generation of data necessary for the maintenance of the routine and to provide solid reports to the board;
  • Have knowledge of the software development life cycle, being able to manage impediments, ensuring deliveries together with the development team, aligned with business needs;
  • Lead interdisciplinary initiatives (Product, Software Development, Operations, Business Development etc.) delivering necessary business requirements;
  • Work actively in people management, developing talents, providing periodic feedback and helping to build PDI’s;
  • Represent strategic needs with the rest of the organization, interacting directly with the company’s strategic leaders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in building and leading multidisciplinary product teams;
  • Strong knowledge of the main agile development methodologies;
  • Track record developed in Financial Services or Technology companies;
  • Advanced / Fluent English.
