Operating with excellence in the agribusiness segment, our client is a company known for its commitment to innovation and sustainability. In a scenario of expansion and increasing complexity of international operations, the company is looking for a new Head of International Purchasing to strengthen its product acquisition strategy and ensure efficiency in interfacing with global suppliers.
As leader of the area, your main challenge will be to optimize the company’s global supply chain, ensuring the efficient acquisition of essential inputs and raw materials for the operation in Brazil. You will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies that reduce import costs and deadlines, in addition to managing the relationship with international suppliers to ensure compliance with the quality and sustainability standards established by the company.
Develop and implement international purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s needs and objectives;
Negotiate and manage contracts with global suppliers, ensuring favorable conditions and compliance with SLAs;
Monitor and analyze the global supplier market, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve the quality of inputs;
Implement purchasing processes and controls, aiming to reduce deadlines and guarantee supply to customers as agreed;
Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing strategies with the company’s production and demand objectives;
Assess and mitigate risks associated with international suppliers and logistical issues, ensuring the continuity of operations.
Experience as an international purchasing or supply manager in the agribusiness sector or related sectors;
Expertise in negotiating and managing contracts with international suppliers;
Solid knowledge of import and global logistics practices;
Ability to develop and implement efficient and sustainable purchasing strategies.
