Dedicated to offering innovative and high-quality solutions to its users, our client is a prominent company in the automotive sector. At a time of restructuring and accelerated growth, the company is looking for a new Corporate Purchasing and Supply Manager to make the purchasing area more strategic.
As responsible for the area, you will have the challenge of restructuring the area, aligning it with the company’s strategic objectives. Your role will be crucial to ensuring the efficiency of purchasing processes and integration with other areas of the company, directly contributing to the expansion and modernization of the business.
Develop and implement purchasing and supply strategies aligned with organizational objectives;
Manage the execution of purchasing projects, from negotiation with suppliers to the delivery of materials, ensuring quality and punctuality;
Analyze and optimize purchasing processes, seeking continuous improvements and cost reduction;
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, aiming for long-term partnerships and innovation;
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing performance metrics and corrective actions when necessary;
Implement strategic sourcing area seeking to create a strategic plan for acquisitions through analysis of all factors that directly impact the success of items;
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations applicable to purchasing and supply activities.
Proven experience in a leadership position in the purchasing and supplies area, preferably in the automotive sector;
Experience in multinational environments, with the ability to deal with different cultures and business practices;
Advanced knowledge in supplier management, negotiation and cost reduction techniques;
Strong ability to analyze and solve problems, focusing on results and operational efficiency.
