Recognized for its excellence in international logistics services, the company is expanding and is looking for a Business Unit Director to lead a new business unit. The professional will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial growth strategies, optimizing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality logistics solutions, with a focus on innovation and excellence in customer service.
As Business Unit Director, the main challenge will be to oversee international logistics operations and promote the growth of the business unit. The professional will be responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy, leading a high-performance team, maintaining relationships with key customers and managing the execution of logistics processes in accordance with international standards.
Define and implement the unit’s business strategy, aligned with the company’s global objectives and monitoring operations performance;
Identify new business opportunities and expand the unit’s customer base, exploring new markets;
Maintain close relationships with key customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty, and identifying new business opportunities;
Supervise international logistics operations, optimizing transportation, storage, distribution and compliance processes;
Coordinate integration between company functions, such as transportation, customer service and sales, to ensure efficient operations;
Manage the unit’s budget, making financial forecasts of income and expenses, and controlling the achievement of financial goals;
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and security standards, in addition to mitigating operational, regulatory and financial risks.
Higher education in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or related areas;
Skill in negotiation and relationships with strategic clients, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Advanced knowledge of the English language.
